End User Instructions for XP SP3 SMS Install

What is This?

This is an examples of a technical instruction that I wrote in my professional career. This instruction demonstrates my abilities to accurately and professionally compose detail oriented instructions for non-technical clients.

Title: “End User Instructions for XP SP3 SMS Install”

Purpose: Microsoft’s Systems Management Server was being used to push out the XP Service Pack 3 Update to the clients that required the update. These Instructions were created as an overview of the expected experience that end-user will encounter. The end users were not expected to have advanced technical skills thus the instructions were written to reduce tensions the client could experience in this automated upgrade process.
